Kirjakerho 6.11.2025 // Book Club
The November SSJS Book Club Meeting will be a special session, focusing on the topic many SSJS Book Club members have requested: Chinese approach to strategy.
When: 6th of November, at 18:00-19:30
Where: Zoom
Please note: The whole session will be in English.
Yang Liu, https://www.linkedin.com/in/lynovae99/, Founding Partner at Novae DXXII and impressive background in commerce, strategy and academia, will be joining our session. We will start our session with Yang’s presentation on the Chinese strategic thinking.
As suggested reading for SSJS Book Club members, there’s 2 book options (or why not read them both!) to choose from. The books will serve as primers to our joint discussion on Chinese approach to strategy. As always, you are welcome to join though you would not have had chance to read the book(s) suggested.
Book 1: Lulu Yilun Chen: “Influence Empire” (2021). Providing an insider story of Tencent, the Chinese tech giant behind WeChat (and majority owner of Supercell). The book is available in audio and print, for example via Audible: Influence Empire Audiobook | Free with trial and Adlibris: Influence Empire – Lulu Yilun Chen – pokkari (9781529346893) | Adlibris kirjakauppa
